Our research network comprises a team of qualitative research experts who have both deep industry and language skills. We draw on our relationships with research professionals throughout the UK and Europe on a project/ long-term basis - as determined by the nature of the project.

Joanna Park-Tonks

Joanna Park-Tonks founded Eclipse Innovation Ltd. in 2006. Joanna Park-Tonks is a skilled primary researcher and interviewer with 8 years experience in market research and management consultancy. Joanna excels in mining data across geographies, industries and cultural contexts. Her passion is conducting in-depth face-to face interviews in German, Italian, French and English using a number of techniques to elicit hard to find data and underlying attitudes and drivers.

Joanna first developed her qualitative research skill-set with a technical market research firm in the Cambridge Innovation Cluster. In this role, she was responsible for primary research and analysis in European markets. Formal training and further consulting experience were gained at Accenture, where Joanna was engaged in a variety of Change Management and communication roles in Holland, India and the UK. Joanna further honed her influencing and communication techniques whilst engaged as International PR Co-coordinator for De Beers in Milan and London.

Arthur Weiss

Arthur is an MBA, and Chartered Marketer with the UK's Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has written papers on competitive intelligence, the Internet and marketing related issues that have appeared in a variety of publications.

He has lectured widely on competitive intelligence topics in the UK, US, Europe, China, South Africa and the Middle East, and regularly leads training seminars focusing on competitive intelligence.

He currently also teaches the Marketing Research and Information module of the Chartered Institute of Marketing's Advanced Diploma in Marketing at Thames Valley University. Arthur was General Editor, Croner’s Marketing, ‘A Practical Management Guide’ published in 1996 and contributed chapters on Competitor Analysis and Marketing Planning.

Between 1984 and 1995 Arthur worked for Dun & Bradstreet Europe, where he served as D&B's European Marketing Information manager responsible for the co-ordination of competitive intelligence and analysis activity throughout D&B's European region.

Michelle Beckett

Michelle Beckett is a Senior Analyst for Eclipse Innovation based in the North of England, with 11 years experience in the fields of competitive research, HR consulting, headhunting and training across industry. She has worked as a freelance analyst for various business intelligence consulting firms over the last 5 years. Michelle has extensive experience of company mapping projects and generalist strategic analysis, and her many years as a headhunter has enabled her to develop an extensive global network of business contacts to call upon for primary research purposes.

 

Michelle has a BA (Hons) in English & Theatre Studies from Lancaster University.

Barbara Geyer-Hayden

Barbara has more than 8 years experience in the field of Knowledge Management. During this time she has been engaged by the Albertina Museum in Vienna, Eurocontrol, Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, Ovitas in Hungary, Wienerberger and many other companies.

Within Knowledge Management, Barbara’s theoretical specialism is Library & Information Science. Barbara lectures in this field at numerous universities of applied science in Austria. Barbara has deep skills in user and content oriented software design and the translation of user and client needs into technical specifications. In particular, her professional interests include, Knowledge Organisation & Visualisation, Information Architecture and the Semantic Web.

Shazia Nizam

Shazia is a strategic analyst with extensive experience of working across market intelligence and market analysis objectives, including country focus and industry specifics. She has extensive experience of the mobile/internet, retail and branding industries. She has developed a good knowledge of the Indian consumer and has recently worked across the Indian and UK entertainment spheres branding Indian entertainment within business including digital content creation. Most notably, she assisted with the development of the ethnic communications strategy at the mobile operator 02.

Shazia has an MBA from Aston Business School with an emphasis on international strategy.

Jeremy Rigall

Jeremy has considerable experience in competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence and strategy consultancy. He has completed several projects in healthcare and pharma.

At AMR International a leading due diligence consultancy, he advised private equity companies on acquisition, completing full commercial due diligence within a short time frame. Jeremy has dual French/English nationality and is bilingual in French. Jeremy previously spent 2 years in France working for Ernst & Young.
